The Pantanal is an unique ecosystem in the middle of South America. A huge flood plain, with distinct dry and wet seasons, where men and wildlife need to adjust to the ever changing water level. A UNESCO World Heritage Centre, this extensive fresh water wetland is almost entirely private owned and used for cattle ranching. Ecotourism activities are also widespread in the area. The diverse wildlife and unique landscape attract tourists from all over the world. Pantanal, Brazil
