     Itatiaia National Park was established in 1937, and was the first of its kind at the time. It protects areas of Atlantic forest in the mountains between Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. My family explored the park since the early fifties. In 2012, during its 75th anniversary, I started to document my own explorations over there, connecting past and present with old B&W family photos and my own images. Itatiaia, Brazil
